"This is one of the best TAs I have met in UCLA. He is knowledgeable and willing to teach in a prepared manner. He is a great TA."
"Sungwoo is one of my favorite TA's I have ever had at UCLA. He really took the time to engage in real conversations with his students and made it clear he was always available and prioritizing our education. He was easy to contact outside of class and gave relevant updates throughout the quarter. He also consistently took the time to give thorough feedback for each group, which was really helpful as we were able to resubmit assignments for a higher grade. He was very personable and spoke about his background and interests in the materials as well. Would recommend him as a TA to anyone taking this class and even those who are simply interested in the topic."
"Sungwoo really cared about the learning experience in the discussion sections. I went out of my way to participate and interact with him and was rewarded with a lot of knowledge and insight on course materials. Some students would not interact and Sungwoo made it a point that the discussion was useless if no one listened and interacted. Great TA that actually cares"
"Very approachable and accommodating. He explained things simply and thoroughly. I legitimately believe that I learned more from him than the actual professor."
"Sungwoo is a really good TA, who is willing to help his students, and ensure that they could demonstrate mastery of the subject. he is willing to meet up with students to discuss problem sets, assist them with anything that they are struggling with, and even provide them with more resources to understand the concepts taught at lecture."
"Professor Cho should be returned as a full-time econ department professor. He is by far the best econ professor I have had. His class is the only class I have fully understood every topic covered, as I get an A on the midterm. I am anticipating an A overall, and that would not happen without the professor and the time he takes to make sure I have understood these topics. I find his recorded lectures extremely helpful, as I could go back and review whenever I need to, and his use of examples that are applicable to the subjects we cover in class (I find other professors to struggle in this category)."
